Klue Wins Tech Culture of the Year at 2021 BC Technology Impact Awards

What a week! 

Last night, Klue took home top honours for Tech Culture of the Year at the BC Tech Association’s Technology Impact Awards. 

It’s the second year in a row we’ve come away with some hardware from the event, after winning Company of the Year in the Growth Success category in 2020. 

And on Wednesday, we were named one of the 50 fastest-growing companies in Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50™.

It goes without saying that being recognized by an iconic company like Deloitte is a serious achievement that we’re all proud of.

But there’s something extra special about Klue’s workplace culture being recognized within our industry. 

Klue’s culture in three words: Transparent, Humble, Hustle

From day one, our co-founders Jason and Sarathy (G-Sar) set the tone for Klue’s culture. That same tone continues to reverberate more than half-a-decade later, driven by Transparency, Humility, and Hustling. 

Transparent

We work in an open office environment — literally and figuratively — where anyone can overhear conversations between members of the senior leadership team, open up the latest board report, and even check out all of our financials. There are no mysteries at Klue, everything is transparent and out in the open. 

Humble

As soon as you walk into the room, one of the first things you notice about Klue’s culture is the complete absence of ego throughout the entire organization. No politics, no posers. The thread that connects everyone single person that works at Klue is our devotion to being in it to win it together. We’re all on the same team, and that guiding force never comes into question. 

Hustle

When you spend every day surrounded by coworkers who care just as much as you do about building something great here at Klue, it’s not hard to believe that we’re all working towards a common goal. We vigorously debate and respectfully challenge each other’s ideas, always coming from a place of curiosity and a drive to get better. In other words: Don’t be a jerk. 

The more things change, the more they stay the same

We’re growing, we’re getting noticed, we’re helping more customers win more deals — and we’re defining a category. 

For us to keep building and crushing our goals, we’re going to need more of our secret sauce: the amazingly talented employees and builders that have gotten us to this point. We’ll need even more diversity of thought and experience to get there. 

With growth comes growing pains. But one thing that will always stay the same is our commitment to making Klue the best place to work.
