Putting 15M To Work: Our Plan to Transform Competitive Intelligence

2 min

We just raised $15M. Here’s what we’re going to do with it.

We are thrilled to announce a $15 million Series A funding round led by Craft Ventures with participation from HWVP, existing investors OMERS Ventures, Rhino Ventures, and BDC Ventures, and several notable angel investors including Frederic Kerrest and Zach Coelius. You can read the story in Forbes here  or the coverage by the Globe and Mail here.

After three years of 3x revenue growth, receiving multiple awards, creating a new category of software, and recognition from analysts and customers alike, we know we’re onto something with Klue.

This funding will go straight into building our Competitive Enablement (CE) platform; accelerating product and machine learning development to make you more effective than ever before at making your competitors… well, quite frankly, eat sand.

Starting with Arming Sellers – Our first bet in making our customers, heroes.

We were first to market with modern battlecards.

We made a bet early on that the distribution of insights to arm sellers against the competition was ultimately what mattered most in a Competitive Intelligence (CI) platform. Looking across our enterprise clients – companies like Dell EMC, Cisco, Redhat, Shopify and SurveyMonkey – we were right.

These clients have built CI programs that command attention in their organizations. Nearly every enterprise customer using Klue has increased their win rate within 18 months. Clients, who started delivering insights to 100 users have expanded to over 15,000 sales and channel partners, with incredible engagement in their competitive content.

The results speak for themselves. As rated by our customers, we’re the enterprise leader in the category and the best-rated CI platform on the market. As humbling as this is, our goal remains to empower our curators to be the competitive superheroes in their organizations. They are, and always will be, the brains of the operation.

Arming your sellers was our first move, now it’s time to get your whole organization on board.

Reinventing Competitive Intelligence to Org-Wide Competitive Enablement.

Competition is heating up across every sector and disruption cycles have moved from years to months. It’s not only your sales team that needs to mobilize quickly to outmaneuver their competitors – Marketing, Product, Strategy, Talent, Customer Success and Executives – all of these teams are affected by the competition.

Our vision for delivering even more value to our customers is for every team and department to be enabled with actionable insights in real-time, all aligned to a cohesive competitive strategy.

Thank You to our Legion of Loyal Customers

Klue users aren’t just supportive, they’re fanatics. Each and every one of our customers have been instrumental in our success and growth. Through presentations, word-of-mouth, referrals, reviews, feedback and support – you’ve elevated our product and continue to support our growth. 15 million “thank yous” to you.

We can’t wait to deliver more into your hands and to help you elevate your competitive enablement programs.
